:Amigos de México was founded in 2019 by a group of Latina immigrant women who saw the urgent needs and challenges faced by their community. Since then, it has grown into a committed nonprofit organization, providing vital resources and support to underserved families.

Natural Helpers
Nos complace felicitar al tercer grupo de graduados del programa Natural Helpers, llevado a cabo dentro de Campeones de la Salud. Este grupo de líderes ha demostrado un profundo compromiso al servicio de su comunidad, formando una sólida red de apoyo y liderazgo. A través de los talleres impartidos, han adquirido herramientas esenciales que les permitirán contribuir de manera activa a la integración y bienestar de los miembros de su comunidad, ayudándolos a superar barreras y mejorar su calidad de vida.
Este logro no habría sido posible sin el invaluable apoyo de la Colorado Health Foundation y la Oficina de Asuntos Internacionales e Inmigrantes y Refugiados de Aurora, que han sido fundamentales en la creación y desarrollo de estos talleres. Gracias a su respaldo, hemos podido ofrecer un programa de gran impacto que fortalece a las comunidades inmigrantes y refugiadas, promoviendo la inclusión y el acceso a recursos fundamentales para su bienestar.

Amigos de México receives the 2023 Ohtli Award from the Consulate of Mexico in Denver
In 2023, Amigos de México was honored with one of the highest recognitions granted by the Government of Mexico abroad: the Ohtli Award, presented by the Consulate General of Mexico in Denver.
We received this meaningful distinction from Consul General Pavel Meléndez, as a recognition of our commitment and long-standing work in empowering and uplifting the Mexican and Hispanic community in Colorado. The Ohtli Award symbolizes the opening of paths for future generations, and for us, it represents a profound honor and responsibility to continue working with love, respect, and dedication for our people.
